Hey Folks,

I am Sulay - Founder of Bummer, an Innerwear first brand - building for Gen-Z & Millennial consumers of India & beyond. We've been building Bummer for the last 4+ years in a journey that has been humbling, stressful & full of ups & down, while still being full of excitement everyday.

Having been born & raised in a family of entrepreneurs, all largely textile focused, naturally building in Fashion & Apparel was the route for me. I've now spent 9+ years in my career with a couple of years in the US & a couple of years in corporate here in India.

As a solo founder who was lucky enough to have a great team alongside, we have been on an absolute rollercoaster of a journey, from building & scaling to scaling down to running out of cash & more. But all for sweet rewards that gave beautiful shape to my career & entrepreneurial spirit.

In our 4+ year journey with Bummer, I have been lucky to be awarded the Forbes 30U30 title, raised over $2mn from one of the best VCs & Angels out there, awarded INC42's India's Fastest Growing D2C brands & ofcourse, most critically our infamous appearance on Shark Tank India that won some hearts (hopefully)!

I am happy to be here & use the platform to pass on my experiences over the years for D2C, E-Com, Brand Building, Design, Marketing, Funding & much more to you all!
